We have some very special news to share with you all. The Lancashire and Belle Vue RGT branch has won the 2013 George Ford RGT award for services to retired greyhounds.
We are very proud of our branch and the work we have done so far but also knowing what other branches do around the country, it seems especially humbling as they know, as well as us, the effort and sheer hard work that goes in to making a branch successful. There are some amazing RGT branches out there and we cant quite believe we’ve won!!
I just want to personally say a big thanks to everyone who is part of the branch/group. Without everyone working together we just wouldn’t be able to do what we do. Homecheckers, people doing vet runs, fundraisers, foster carers, folk that run the kennels, the vets, people that do the transporting of the greyhounds in to our care, folk attending and supporting our events (and there are loads more folk I can mention) all play a part to make the branch work. Thank you to everyone!!!!! Love from the LBVRGT gang, humans and hounds xx
